In this blog post, we will cover everything you need to know about controlling your hearing aids, including adjusting the volume, changing programs, replacing batteries, and charging your devices. Depending on the model of your hearing aids, the operation may vary slightly. However, all hearing aids allow for volume adjustments or the use of individual programs. These functions must be activated by your hearing care professional. You can control your hearing aids either through small buttons or touch areas directly on the device or via an app.
Volume Control Options
1.Hearing Aids with Button: If your hearing aid has a single button (switch), you can adjust the volume by briefly pressing the button to increase or decrease it. You will receive an auditory signal indicating the minimum and maximum volume levels.
2.Hearing Aids Without Controls: The Alfa3 Box model does not have any controls. The volume is adjusted using the “Tap-System.” By tapping your hearing aid with your hand, the volume will increase or decrease accordingly. Your hearing care professional can activate the Tap-System for you.
Programs
Some users prefer manual programs for specific hearing needs. To switch programs, press and hold the button. If you successfully change the program, you will receive an auditory or voice prompt to confirm the change.
App
The Tie X model is Bluetooth compatible, so you can control it using the Cleverear app. You can adjust your favorite program and volume settings through the app. Additionally, phone calls can be directly streamed to your hearing aids.
Charging Hearing Aids
Once you place your rechargeable hearing aids on the charging station, they will automatically start charging. Your hearing aids will be fully charged within three hours.
