Sensory organ ear
Humans have a total of five sensory organs: eyes, skin, nose, mouth, and ears. Each of these organs has the important task of receiving stimuli from the environment and transmitting them to our brain. The ear is our most sensitive sensory organ and plays a central role in auditory perception. It functions as a highly sensitive sensor that captures and processes sound waves. The delicate sensory cells in the cochlea convert these sound waves into electrical signals, which are then transmitted to our brain. There, the acoustic stimuli are interpreted and processed, enabling us to respond to the environment and sounds around us.
