Hearing Aids are available in the following four different styles:
1.BTE (Behind-the-Ear): In traditional Behind-the-Ear hearing aids, all the technology is placed behind the ear. The amplified sound from the hearing aid is directed into the ear canal via a tube.
2.TIE (Transducers-In-The-Ear): In Transducers-In-The-Ear hearing aids, the microphone and speaker are located directly in the ear canal. The amplifier and battery are housed behind the ear. TIE hearing aids are exclusively produced by Helix, making us the first hearing aid manufacturer worldwide to offer this technology.
3.RIC (Receiver-In-The-Canal): In Receiver-In-The-Canal hearing aids, the microphones are positioned behind the ear, while the speaker is placed inside the ear canal to deliver the amplified sound.
4.ITE (In-The-Ear): In In-The-Ear hearing aids, all the technology is housed in a casing that fits entirely inside the ear canal, leaving no components behind the ear.
